Betty Cuningham Gallery will be closing its doors after 20 years. Our final exhibition - The Last Picture Show - will open on Saturday, February 10, from 4 – 6 PM. It will feature works by several of the gallery’s artists, past and present. The exhibition will remain open to the public through Saturday, April 27, 2024. Detailed announcement to follow. The gallery at 15 Rivington Street will remain open by appointment through May 2024.
As of June 1, 2024 the gallery will transition to a primarily online presence through our website www.bettycuninghamgallery.com. In this new capacity, we will serve as a resource for our collectors, museums, and curators as we facilitate primary and secondary market sales, acquisitions, publications, research requests and other ongoing projects.
Our thanks go to our artists Clytie Alexander, Alfonso Fratteggiani Bianchi, Rackstraw Downes, Greg Drasler, Elizabeth Enders, Judy Glantzman, John Lees, Stanley Lewis, Graham Nickson, Mia Westerlund Roosen, Alison Wilding and our estates, William Bailey, Jake Berthot, Andrew Forge, Rudolf de Crignis, Charles Garabedian, Bill Traylor – Charles E. and Eugenia C.
